In July 2018, the approval of Basic Law: Israel as the Nation-State of the Jewish People caused several protests organized by Arab citizens of Israel. However, the opposition to the new legislation was derived from two main competing narratives. We will discuss the challenges of this law through the eyes of the Israeli Arabs.
